housing

i got an email from the housing company in massachusetts saying another person ahead of me on the waiting list accepted a housing offer but my application will stay on record for 180 days- should they or another housing company (for which i would be on the top of housing list) have another vacancy. i just hope something comes up to make me get housing there sooner. it feels like more housing opportunities are available at this housing company than the housing companies in new york. i regret not doing this sooner since massachusetts is a really nice place to live from what i've personally seen.
